{Sneak Peek} The H family!
I’ve known Mrs. H for quite some time now, I am not going to count the years up though, because I just don’t want to face that number, ok? Lets just say it’s more than 10… So when she asked me to photograph her family, I was thrilled! The weather cooperated with us, though that pesky sun did go down awefully fast for my taste- guess that’s what I get on a late November afternoon, huh? I had a great time chasing your sweet baby girl (there’s just something about blue eyed baby girls I just LOVE). She’s certainly got a mind of her own, doesn’t she? Be glad for that, she’ll never let anyone do the thinking for her.
Thank you guys, for having me photograph your sweet family, I hope you enjoied your sneak peek!
{Sneak Peek} The actual C Family!!!
I suppose I should have named the previous post “Mr. D” since that was all about the little man of the C family… but it is what it is, right? This one has the amazing, fantastic, loving parents that are responsible for that sweet little 2 year old (HOW did that happen, 2!?!). Love them, Love him. See why?
Sneak Peek! The C family!
{Sneak Peek} Mag!
I had the immense pleasure of spending my evening Monday with an amazing, vibrant, funny, colorful, incredible, intelligent, fantastic senior. I had such a great time getting to know Mag, hanging with her and her family! I was a tad concerned when our location was severely flooded a week or so ago, and while the water has gone down, the area will be recovering for a long time. Fortunately, the bridge and park was in decent shape, so we just shot around the random 2×4′s poking out of the trees, and the dead bevers… It was quite an adventure- but luckily Meg was a great sport adept at quick changes and sitting in dirt (we’ll call it that, k?).
I truely couldn’t have asked for a better girl to work with, her confidence shines- I LOVE that in a girl! It helps that she’s simply BEAUTIFUL, doesn’t it!?

And One of Meg N Moe! These girls are so vibrant- you can tell they have so much fun together, and I’m thinking things get a bit crazy with these two!

This is just the first few of a fantastic session, I’ve got loads more to edit Mag! I’ll try not to get “too close, a little too close!”
Enjoy.
Meet Baby K- officially {sneak peek!}
I shared a quick one of this little man the other day, but now it’s time for his “official” sneak peek… he was pretty awake in the beginning, didn’t really like being naked (especially outdoors) but once I got him inside, under my lights, he was one sleepy little dude.
Enjoy the sneak peek J family!!! You’ve got one sweet little baby on your hands…
L1 and L2, Cousins! {Sneak Peek}
I had the immense pleasure of photographing these two little men on Saturday. I say that with each session I learn something new, well this one was certainly a learning experience… like doing two sessions of toddler boys at the same time- NOT exactly easy. Now, it could have been harder, they really were well behaved, but the chase in different directions can be a bit difficult. Plus I didn’t exactly have the most qualified assistants on hand… (it’s ok, they don’t mind me saying that- they’re my own kids!)
SO- handful asside, this session went remarkably well. The boys are absolutely adorable, and different as night and day- in looks and personalilty- just like their Momma’s (who happen to be sisters). L1 and L2 are the nick names their grandpa gave them, so I thought I’d use them here too!
Ok, with no further Adoo:
L1- he’s a very handsome little dude, with a pretty serious side, he likes to watch the world with a careful eye, observing everything that goes on around him, but get him to smile and it lights up the room! His hobbies include- throwing (anything, really) especially into water, trying to flush stuff down the toilet (like my keys) and sitting down when he’s done… though mostly it’s the throwing he likes.

and L2: He’s a doer- a bussy body that’s always on the go… Mom’s got her hands full with this one, because he’s pretty fast. He likes to take a minute to smell the roses from time to time, and if anyone tickles him, once he giggles you’ll have no choice but to smile right along with him.
And one of L2 with his Mom- who stops traffic (and no, she’s not Jennifer Aniston).

Ladies- get yourselves ready, you’re going to have to beat the girls off these two, and the trouble they’ll get into together… it’s going to be epic.
Perfect light {Mine}
Every evening, just after dinner, or just before bedtime for the girls, I’ve been noticing this beautiful, golden light peeking above the mountain on the side of my house. It lights up the side yard with a dazzling array of sunbeams peeking through the trees. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the idea of capturing that light. Yesterday I had a newborn session scheduled for right around that time, and I was determined to capture that light. Unfortunately, about an hour before the session, the clouds rolled in. Boo. I had nice light, just not THE light…
So Today, as I was sitting down with my middle kiddo, I looked outside and much to my suprise (since It’s rained ALL day here) THERE it was!!! THE perfect light.
I grabbed my new prop (adorable, huh?!) and my sweet baby (who was not exactly into the whole photo session idea- she was a bit of a stinker) and got a couple of shots with the perfect light.

Next up on the blog, I have 3 sessions in the worrks for a sneak peek!!!
What I Did Today {crazy quick sneak peek}
Sneak Peek! {the E family!}
Things are starting to pick back up around here, and hopefully things will keep on rolling! I had a great time (albiet sticky) photographing the E family. They were troopers in the humidity on the St. Lawrence.

Don’t you just LOVE this… “Just Like Daddy!”

and because you know I can’t resist…
I love seeing the personalities of this family in photographs. Each one is completely themselves, and so funny to be around. Thanks for letting me capture your family E’s!
Everythings Turning Up Rosie! {Sneak Peek}
I did a quick mini-session of this beautiful girl a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say- What a Difference, working with a teenager, and not a toddler!!! LOL, I just LOVE working with older kids and teens- they follow directions and stay in one place! It’s FANTASTIC!!! Oh, and just so long as you’re a bit of a klutz, like I am, you get plenty of great, natural smiles. (Tip: Teens find it hard to resist laughing at you when you fall down alot!)
I just loved working with ya, girlie, Buzzz like a bee!
